The 36-hour annual MCAST Hair and Beauty Marathon which will take place between Saturday 10 and Sunday 11, February will be streamed live on www.di-ve.com through Education 22.

The 12th edition of the marathon will be held at the Park of Friendship (Razzett tal-Hbiberija), Marsascala.

Viewers can watch all the marathon live on the internet from 11am on Saturday 10, February until 12am on Sunday 11, February, 2007.

A number of links on One TV and Net TV will also be streamed live on www.di-ve.com throughout both days.

Blythewood Hair Salon Opens Despite Weather

(Blythewood)-If you drove through Blythewood Thursday morning, you couldn't miss the large puddles, slick streets or the bright lights inside "Cuttin' Loose Hair Salon."

By the looks of things, even flickers of snowflakes didn't turn customers away. They were just hoping their stylists felt the same way.

Selena Morgan said, "I was just hoping Gina was going to be here."

It seems as if Selena's prayers paid off.

She said, "It was bad. I was starting to look gray." I needed my hair done and my eyebrows were in need of maintaining."

Salon owner, Sandra Dee Christmus, said they started preparing for the worst Wednesday night.

Sandra Dee said, "We all took a list home of our customers just in case it was bad, but I knew we'd be here.

Beiersdorf to invest in C-Bons' hair care unit

FRANKFURT, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Beiersdorf , the German maker of Nivea products, said on Tuesday it had signed a letter of intent with C-Bons Holding, a Hong Kong-based company, to explore opportunities in hair care in Asia.

Beiersdorf said it wanted to "explore exclusively various business cooperation opportunities in areas such as sales and marketing and research and development regarding C-Bons' hair care and hair styling businesses in China."

Both companies have agreed to further discuss a potential equity investment in an appropriate form by Beiersdorf in C-Bons Hair care.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Beiersdorf shares were up 0.1 percent at 50.69 euros by 0935 GMT, underperfoming a 0.5 percent rise in the German mid-cap index . .
